What Cat Clapping is
Cat Clapping is a small, independent website for people who love the clapping cat meme: the black cat that stands on two legs, grins and claps slowly. We built it so anyone can put their own cat, and a person, into the scene without editing software.
What you can do here
- Make a video with a person and your cat. Add two photos and get the 10-second story: the treat, the shush, the clap and the handshake.
- Make a video and GIF of only your cat. Add one photo and get a green-screen video and a transparent GIF.
- Download free GIFs. The ready-made clapping cat GIFs are free for personal use and never cost credits.
- Read the lore. Our meme page explains where the clapping cat came from and how people use it.
How the videos are made
You upload your photos and an AI video model places them into a fixed template that copies the meme's moves. Every video is AI-generated, not real footage. You pay in credits, once, with no subscription, and credits for a generation that fails are refunded automatically.
Who is behind it
Cat Clapping is run by a small independent team. We are fans of the meme, not its creators, and we are not affiliated with the original creator, Instagram or TikTok. The meme belongs to the people who made it; this site only offers a way to make new videos from your own photos.
